Note on tracking Sun-Earth connection event ICME Event: 2011/11/12 Observer: Eleni Nikou on 2019/06 1. ICME 1.1. Catalog # Identified in ICME catalogs: Richardson & Can List RC catalog: Disturbance start time: 2011/11/12 05:59 UT Ejecta Start time: 2011/11/13 10:00 UT Ejecta End time: 2011/11/15 02:00 UT dv = 80 km/s, v = 370 km/s, vmax= 460 km/s MC index: 1 Dst: -13 nT Suggested source CME: 2011/11/09 13:30 UT V_transit: 650 km/s 1.2. Comments Overall ICME quality index: 3 ICME signatures: Bmax: 5.9 nT ICME signatures: data is not good! Disturbance time 370 km/s -> search window 4-5 days -> 2011/11/08 2. CME 2.1. A. Candidate A A.1. LASCO: #CME 2011/11/08 11:36:05 UT, partial halo CME A.2. STEREO: no data A.3. AIA & GOES GOES and Solar Monitor: no flare associated A.4 Comment: STEREO data gap - 2011/11/08 07:24 UT - 15:24 UT CDAW gives a partial halo CME on 2011/11/08 at 11:36:05 UT, while GOES and Solar Monitor don't give an event at that time. There are small dimmings around AR11339 and AR11344 though. CDAW also gives a partial halo CME on 2011/11/08 at 06:12:06 UT, but it seems that is a back-side event. 2.1. B. Candidate B B.1. LASCO: #CME 2011/11/08 00:00:06 UT, partial halo CME B.2. STEREO: front-side CME, data from COR2-A and COR2-B, first frame at COR2-A 2011/11/08 00:24 UT B.3. AIA & GOES GOES: no flare associated Solar Monitor: AR11339, N19W09, class: C2.3 at 00:13 UT B.4 Comment: Small dimmings around AR11339 Likely the source 3. Other Comments 4.
